This three week workshop will dive into the world of creating characters for animation. We’ll focus on using the imagination, specificity and vocal awareness to create characters for cartoons and video games. Students will gain tools to combat their creative blocks and expand their potential as voice artists in animation and beyond.

Improvisation or acting experience required. Prior voice acting training is suggested.

Roxana Ortega is an actor, writer and award-winning voice over artist best known for her work as Frida Casagrande in the Emmy-award winning cartoons The Casagrandes and The Loud House. She has voiced countless characters in films, trailers, commercials, audiobooks and some of the biggest video game franchises -- Call of Duty, Halo, Ghost Recon and Final Fantasy.

In addition to her VO work, Roxana has an on-camera career that spans two decades and is an alum of the Groundlings Sunday Company.
